Here is the latest information from our local Multiple Listing Service.  This current month section compares December 2008 with December 2007.  Be sure to also check out my blog on the current real estate market.

TOTAL MONTHS OF INVENTORY IN PORTLAND METRO RIGHT NOW = 19.2 MONTHS.  If no more homes went on the market in the Portland Area, it would take over 19 months to sell all the current active residential listings.  This is up from 14 months in December.
